Job Summary
Kitchen Manager responsible for the day-to-day kitchen operations at Boston Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar, overseeing purchasing, receiving, and preparation of all food items, staffing and scheduling the kitchen team, and ongoing training and development of staff. Focus on maintaining quality and consistency of menu items, controlling food and labor costs, ensuring safety and sanitation in line with health department expectations, and driving guest satisfaction through effective team leadership, training, and effective communication of menu changes and promotions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant management preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Hands-on management style
- Excellent project management skills
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office and POS system a plus
