Job Summary
Kitchen Manager at Chick-fil-A responsible for supervising kitchen operations and coaching Leaders and Team Members to deliver crave-able food quickly while meeting Chick-fil-A quality standards. Responsibilities include assigning kitchen crew, ensuring food safety and cleanliness, maintaining equipment, managing waste, coordinating checklists and orders, and aligning daily practices with the restaurant’s vision and goals. The role requires strong supervisory, leadership, and coaching skills, plus the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Education/experience preferences include a BA/BS in Food Service or Culinary Management and ServSafe certification; shift is 2pm–11pm; 18+ and hospitality-management experience are valued. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 year or older
- Must be able to work 2pm-11pm shift
- High school degree and BA/BS in Food Service or Culinary Management is preferred
- A minimum of two 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry, specifically in Management
- Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational practices
- Demonstrates loyalty, integrity, motivation, trustworthiness, dependability, empathy, and professionalism
- A passion for people and service
- Able to lead, coach and delegate a team of individuals in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop others
- Eagerness to learn and improve yourself
- A commitment to quality in everything you do
- ServSafe Certification preferred
