Job Summary
Kitchen Operator in a food manufacturing facility responsible for operating and monitoring kitchen equipment (mixers, ovens, and other machinery) to meet established specifications and quality standards. Roles include following recipes and production schedules, maintaining sanitation and safety, recording batch data and deviations, troubleshooting equipment to minimize downtime, collaborating with team members to hit production goals, and ensuring health and safety compliance throughout shifts. Training occurs on 1st shift for two weeks (5:30am-1:30pm); shifts run Monday–Friday across three time blocks; candidate should have prior food-manufacturing experience and be able to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain cleanliness.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment with similar duties.
- Ability to follow recipes and production schedules accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and move items throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
