Job Summary
Prepares and cooks food by following established recipes; maintains stock levels and product quality by monitoring dates, appearance, and storage temperature controls. Follows recipes to exact specifications; ensures consistency in quality, taste, and presentation. Assists kitchen personnel with cooking, slicing, weighing, packaging, labeling, pricing, and maintaining product displays. Adheres to safety and quality standards, rotates stock, and maintains a clean, safe working environment. Engages with customers, answers questions, and handles special order requests. Promotes product sales through suggestive selling; works with a team and communicates effectively. Requires basic math for recipe quantities, ability to operate a slicer and oven, read digital equipment, learn new systems, and handle flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Food Handler certification required
- 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business per BGC policy
