Job Summary
Manage kitchen staff to ensure daily goals and tasks are met while maintaining a clean, safe facility. Monitor and oversee food temperatures during hot and cold handling to reduce foodborne illness risks. Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to control budget expenses and streamline operations, keeping the General Manager informed of issues and proposing solutions. Communicate clearly with vendors for equipment and supplies, assist in ordering food and produce, and receive deliveries while directing staff on stocking. Perform and assist in all kitchen operations functions. Work irregular hours under heavy stress during peak times, coordinating multiple tasks while lifting up to 50 pounds.

- Must possess a high level of coordination
- Must lift and carry up to 50 pounds for distances up to 30 feet
- Must be able to fit through an opening 30" wide
- Requires frequent reaching, bending, pushing and pulling
- Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold and odors
- Requires continual standing and walking
- Basic skills such as sanitation, safety, and customer service
