Job Summary
Conduct daily production of in-house prepared foods while supervising presentation and quality control standards. Support the Team Lead in coaching, training, and developing staff within the Prepared Foods Department. Manage operational tasks including ordering deliveries, scheduling, reviewing sales and shrink reports, and conducting monthly inventory. Maintain an attractive sales floor by implementing merchandising guidelines and ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all fixtures, storage areas, and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in prepared foods, kitchen operations, or food service
- Leadership or lead experience
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organization skills
- Strong time management skills
- Strong multitasking skills
- Ability to coach, train, and positively influence Team Members while maintaining accountability
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach frequently at and above shoulder level and below waist level
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods during food preparation and service
- Ability to pull and push moderate loads, maneuvering carts, racks, and equipment as needed
