Job Summary
Perform complete kitchen exhaust cleaning services including setup, containment with plastic sheeting, pre-scraping grease buildup, and high-pressure washing of hoods, ducts, filters, and exhaust fans to NFPA 96 standards. Execute final cleanup to restore kitchen environments and protect customer facilities from grease, chemicals, and elevated work hazards. Document deficiencies and non-compliant conditions, complete accurate service reports, and manage inventory and vehicle maintenance. Safely handle hazardous materials, dispose of waste, and adhere to all safety procedures and OSHA compliance requirements while traveling to job sites.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active driver's license, if driving role
- Clean driving record, if driving role
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to work in various environments
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work for extended periods
- Must have a clean driving record and active driver's license, if driving role
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in commercial cleaning as a KEC apprentice or KEC technician
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on jobs
