Job Summary
Prepare, cook, and bake meals for students while cleaning equipment, utensils, and kitchen machines. Serve prepared food to students and perform miscellaneous duties including acting as a cashier, counting money, ordering supplies, and securing food for shipment. Maintain a positive attitude and follow work instructions while interacting with students, staff, and supervisors. Complete a Food Handlers Class within 30 days of employment. This 10-month position runs Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 2:30pm, reporting to the Kitchen Manager or Production Lead.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, students, and others
- Ability and willingness to follow work instructions in all areas of foodservice and maintain a positive attitude toward the foodservice program
- Ability to report to work on time and notify manager at the earliest possible time when unable to work
- Required upon hire to take Food Handlers Class within 30 days of employment
