Job Summary
Kitchen Helper responsible for assisting in overall kitchen operations and maintenance, cleaning and sanitizing designated kitchen areas, tools, equipment, pots, and dishes. Duties include washing, scrubbing, sanitizing dining areas; cleaning floors, tables, refrigerators, ovens and equipment; washing pots and dishes; deep cleaning as required; stocking and rotating dining room amenities; assisting with loading/unloading and inventory; ensuring health and safety regulations and quality standards are maintained. Requirements include at least 6 months of kitchen or catering experience in food service/hospitality, English proficiency, and optional food safety/HACCP certification; ability to multitask and organize a work schedule. Required Qualifications
- minimum 6 months kitchen or catering experience in Food Service Industry, hospitality environment or remote lodge setting
- fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- food safety or HACCP certification is an asset
- able to prioritize multiple demands and organize a work schedule
