Job Summary
Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment while maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, café, and event spaces. Clean surfaces, floors, and work areas; assist with basic food preparation when required. Receive, move, and store kitchen supplies while supporting chefs and the wider team during busy service periods. Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures. Assist with functions, weddings, conferences, and special events. Work a flexible schedule across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays. Competitive hourly rate plus penalty rates.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual and ready to work
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
- Physically capable of being on their feet and completing manual tasks throughout a shift
- Organised and able to work efficiently
- Positive, respectful and willing to help the team
- Able to follow instructions and maintain high cleanliness standards
- Flexible to work across weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant or hospitality environment
