Job Summary
The Expeditor ensures quality and presentation of dishes in a timely manner, acts as the bridge between front and back of the house, confirms orders are prepared per recipes, maintains stock on the line, communicates with staff and guests with genuine hospitality, and reads tickets to produce and dispatch orders promptly. The role requires calm under pressure, ability to motivate the team for quick and efficient movement, and a strong emphasis on accuracy and guest service.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age.
- At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel and guests.
- Must be clean, organized and able to project his or her voice.
- Must be quick and deliberate.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
