Job Summary
Director of Culinary Services responsible for directing Culinary Services and dining operations, ensuring safe food handling and compliance with health standards, meeting nutritional requirements and special diets for residents, managing department budget and procurement, supervising staff, training and coaching, ensuring resident satisfaction during meals, and coordinating with leadership on hiring and performance evaluations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Certified Dietary Manager Certification preferred
- Meets all mandatory health requirements by State regulations
- Maintains current Food Handler’s card and ServSafe Certification
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Pass a criminal background and fingerprint check
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to relate positively and communicate with residents and staff
