Job Summary
Lead students in the Kitchen by preparing menus, managing shopping lists, tracking food inventory, and maintaining a clean, safe environment that meets state standards. Monitor kitchen equipment temperatures and submit repair requests as needed. Create healthy menus for students, including those with dietary issues, and serve meals. Assign Direct Care work on and off campus, leading work details and supervising residents during activities, curriculum, and free time. Administer discipline according to Student Guidelines and minister to students as opportunities arise. This role requires a Texas Food Handlers License, valid driver's license, and ability to stand for eight hours while lifting up to 50 lbs. Candidates must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, agreement with Assemblies of God doctrine, and a heart for people struggling with addiction.
Required Qualifications
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and spiritual maturity
- Agreement with Assemblies of God doctrine and ATC mission
- Heart for people struggling with addiction
- Texas Food Handlers License (Already have, or test for one upon hiring)
- Willingness to complete Biblical Counseling training
- Strong communication and relational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and stay organized
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
