Job Summary
Design and sell kitchen and bath spaces for contractors and homeowners from measurement to delivery, partnering with builders, contractors, and homeowners to design interiors (kitchens, bathrooms, offices, mudrooms, bars, etc.), identify sales opportunities, perform site measurements, create designs, and secure final sale. Requires proven sales strategies, strong relationship-building, prompt follow-through, and excellent communication. The role offers salary plus commission with unlimited earning potential and opportunities for growth within Carter Lumber's Kitchen & Bath division; located in Rock Hill, SC with full-time benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to design and to sell to contractors and homeowners
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen and bath cabinetry, materials, finishes, detailing, and trends
- Working knowledge of 20/20 and Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to perform detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on customer needs
- Strong math skills for quoting
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
