Job Summary
Prepare food for buffet-style service according to established menus, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency throughout the shift. Replenish buffet items, monitor food availability, and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and food preparation areas. Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP requirements while using equipment safely. Coordinate with Kitchen Lead and Lounge Supervisors to ensure smooth service flow, answer basic guest questions in the open-kitchen environment, and report any food safety or equipment issues immediately. Support stock handling and basic inventory tasks as assigned. The role requires an H10 food-safety certificate and aviation security background check clearance. Candidates must have previous professional kitchen experience, good English skills, and willingness to work rotating shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a cook or in a professional kitchen environment
- Good English skills
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and safe food‐handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‐paced, shift‐based environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and cleanliness
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- H10 food‐safety certificate
