Job Summary
Prepare a variety of food products using kitchen equipment and utensils according to recipe cards to fulfill guest orders while maintaining a clean, well-organized prep area. Assist guests as needed and present a high standard of integrity and hospitality to promote the Drury culture. Answer questions regarding the hotel, area, and events using general knowledge. Operate kitchen equipment and POS software while effectively communicating with customers and team members. Support the bartender by cleaning and maintaining bar areas, though you will not make or pour alcoholic beverages. Move efficiently throughout the bar and kitchen.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years old or older
- Ability to take written and verbal direction in English
- Ability to speak English clearly
- Ability to operate machines and equipment used, including but not limited to, POS software, dishwashers, kitchen equipment, etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of team members
- Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people
- Consistent level of professionalism
- Ability to support bartender
- Ability to clean and maintain areas for which responsible
- Ability to effectively and efficiently move around bar and kitchen area
