Job Summary
Open and close the hotel Kitchen+Bar following company policies while maintaining a clean, well-organized food prep and bar area. Serve and assist guests by mixing and serving a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment, handling money, making change, and utilizing office machines. Perform duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server as needed, operating equipment including cash registers, POS software, and kitchen tools. Maintain high standards of integrity and hospitality to promote the Drury culture with customers and team members, answering questions about the hotel, area, and events.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One experience bartending required
- Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per Company requirements
- Ability to take written and verbal direction in English and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle money, make change and utilize office machines in normal day-to-day activities
- Ability to operate machines and equipment used, including but not limited to, cash register, POS software, dishwashers, kitchen equipment, etc
- Ability to open and close bar, obtain all supplies necessary for mixing cocktails, and clean and maintain areas for which responsible
- Ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make appropriate change
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of bartender experience preferred
- Completion of two years of college preferred
