Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Bartender position at Drury Hotels is responsible for opening and closing the hotel Kitchen+Bar, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the food prep and bar area, and serving guests. Required skills include bartending experience, the ability to mix drinks, excellent customer service, communication in English, and proficiency with cash handling and bar equipment. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, with one year of bartending experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old or older.
- One experience bartending required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per Company requirements.
- Ability to take written and verbal direction in English and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills; ability to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of team members; ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of bartender experience preferred.
- Completion of two years of college preferred.
