Job Summary
Under general supervision, open and close the hotel Kitchen+Bar following company policies while maintaining the food prep and bar area in a clean, organized manner. Serve and assist guests, present a high standard of integrity and hospitality, and answer questions regarding the hotel, area, and events. Mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment, handle money and make change, and operate equipment including cash registers, POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen tools. Perform duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One experience bartending required
- Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per Company requirements
- Ability to take written and verbal direction in English and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle money, make change and utilize office machines in normal day-to-day activities
- Ability to operate machines and equipment used, including but not limited to, cash register, POS software, dishwashers, kitchen equipment, etc
- Ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make appropriate change
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of bartender experience preferred
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of two years of college preferred
