Job Summary
Support the Kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality meals by providing non-cooking duties in a kitchen or food preparation area. Undertake general cleaning duties within a kitchen or scullery, including cleaning cooking and general utensils. Assist colleagues who are cooking by assembling and preparing ingredients. Possess a Do Food Safely Certificate and demonstrated knowledge of kitchen operations. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a good attitude, showing willingness to learn and acquire new skills. Maintain exceptional interpersonal communication skills while engaging with colleagues on a flexible 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays.
Required Qualifications
- A good attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
- Genuine Interest in working in a commercial kitchen, preparing fresh produce
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and acquire new skills
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Possess a Do Food Safely Certificate of completion
- Demonstrated knowledge and abilities in kitchen operations
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a team and engage with colleagues
- Flexible attitude to work hours over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays
