Job Summary
Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs by preparing foods like sandwiches, wraps, and trays according to customer orders and approved procedures. Wash, peel, and cut fruits, vegetables, and meats to prepare for cooking or serving while following panning, packaging, and merchandising standards. Monitor and maintain all food handling and temperature standards, acquire knowledge of the Kitchen Department, and work as a team to complete tasks including scanning, recording shrink, order writing, stocking, and rotating. Comply with all personal and food safety company standards and attend required corporate meetings, vendor calls, and training classes. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess a sense of urgency and the ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks
- Possess the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Be production driven with the ability to work continuously on repetitive tasks, while standing
- Possess the ability to frequent lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Possess the ability to work in temperatures ranging from 0 to 50 degrees
- Must be willing to work the number of hours required to meet company objectives, with the understanding that occasionally business needs will require additional time
- Must be willing to work the non-traditional five-day work schedule, including Saturday, Sunday and evenings
- Availability Sunday through Saturday, 6am to 7:30pm
- Hours will vary
- Up to 36 hours
- Weekly hours will vary
