Job Summary
Kitchen Assistant required to support the Nursery Cook/Chef in preparing healthy, nutritious meals for nursery children. Responsibilities include assisting with meal preparation, ensuring hygiene and cleanliness to Environmental Health standards, following COSHH procedures, accommodating allergies, receiving/unloading deliveries, and working as part of a team in a busy kitchen. Must have Kitchen experience, be able to work to set menus/recipes with fresh ingredients, and hold a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2.
