Job Summary
Kitchen Assistant role in Hatfield Peverel at a Bupa care home. You will assist chefs with plating meals, prepare food trolleys, keep prep areas tidy, monitor stock rotation, and ensure compliance with COSHH and HACCP guidelines. You’ll help cater for events (e.g., summer BBQs, Christmas parties) and act as the link between the main kitchen and residents to deliver an excellent dining experience. Strong communication with care-home teams and residents is essential, along with a passion for food and prior kitchen experience.
Required Qualifications
- A passion for food with previous experience working in a kitchen
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Working with the wider kitchen and care home teams - comfortable communicating with others to deliver a pleasant dining experience
