Job Summary
Prepares and serves food items with delivered meals, including snacks, salads, beverages, and desserts, while washing and chopping produce. Cleans kitchen equipment, washes dishes, sweeps and mops floors, and defrosts freezers to maintain a safe environment. Stores food in an orderly manner, monitors expiration dates, and coordinates with the Food Service Manager for supplies. Performs all kitchen work in accordance with health regulations and ensures proper personal hygiene among volunteers.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D
- one year experience working in a kitchen
- Food Handlers License
- Safeserve Training and License
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
- Ability to perform frequent walking and/or standing, kneeling or squatting
