Kitchen Assistant Manager - Pump & Pantry

Job Summary
Execute food production plans and oversee preparation across all brands, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and waste procedures. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen to company standards while conducting regular quality checks on food service. Assist with opening and closing procedures, staff training on policies, and performance accountability. Directly supervise three or more employees during Kitchen Manager absences and report maintenance or personnel issues to upper management. Provide competent customer service and work alongside the team to ensure operational continuity during staffing shortages.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum six months food handling or food service experience
- Ability to read and follow product specifications
- Availability to work holidays, weekends, and any other required shift(s)
- Reliable transportation and phone access
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to work cooperatively with team members
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Must stand for long periods of time
- Must frequently walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear
- Must occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Physical attendance at the primary work location is required
