Job Summary
Prepare, wash, and store dishes while cleaning and sanitizing the dishwashing area. Assist with serving meals, setting tables, and bussing tables, then deliver and retrieve kitchen supplies from resident apartments. Support cooks by cleaning food service areas, sweeping, and mopping floors; note that individuals under 18 cannot operate specific equipment like slicers or mixers. Perform other duties as assigned by Culinary Services, Sous Chef, or Cooks. This part-time role at Vitality Living's Aspire at West End Community requires effective English communication, state health certifications, and a food handler's permit. Monthly and quarterly perfect attendance bonuses and 401k are available.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Meet state or provincial health related requirements
- Maintain food handlers permit
- Maintain any other certifications as required by state or provincial regulations
