Job Summary
As a Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher, you will be responsible for preparing, washing, and storing dishes, cleaning and sanitizing the dishwashing area, assisting with meal service, setting and bussing tables, and delivering kitchen supplies. You will also assist cooks with cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping floors. The ideal candidate must effectively communicate in English, meet state health requirements, and maintain necessary food handler certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Meet state or provincial health related requirements
- Maintain food handlers permit and any other certifications as required by state or provincial regulations
Additional Requirements
- No one under the age of 18 can operate or clean specific equipment, including but not limited to: robot coupe, meat slicer, blender, knives, mixers, steamers, grill, and fryer.
