Job Summary
Prepare items for made-to-order and buffet-style meal service while stocking the buffet area with dishes, silverware, condiments, and paper products. Replenish the buffet throughout mealtimes and ensure pantries, cabinets, and refrigerators are fully stocked daily. Clean all dishes, utensils, and food prep items during and after each meal service in both the Inn and MOB kitchens. Maintain ongoing cleaning and sanitation of workstations, buffets, tables, chairs, and all kitchen surfaces, walls, floors, and areas. Support kitchen staff with food preparation and other tasks as assigned by the lead chef on duty. This role requires evening, weekend, and holiday coverage. A Serve Safe Food Service Sanitation Certificate is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to work both as part of a small fast paced team, but also independently
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Ability to work in the evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- This role requires evening, weekend and holiday coverage
Desired Qualifications
- Prior waitstaff or professional front and back house kitchen experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and professional communication skills
- Serve Safe Food Service Sanitation Certificate strongly preferred (we will provide)
