Job Summary
The Kitchen Assistant will perform skilled work in food preparation and cooking on a large scale, following established procedures and guidelines. Responsibilities include preparing, cooking, and serving food, managing serving lines, inspecting food quality, handling cash register operations, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas. The position requires a commitment to role modeling Christian values, assisting in food inventory management, and supporting various food service needs as directed by the Food Service Director.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or a GED
- Christian who is a member of good standing in a Bible believing church
Desired Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Willingness to learn food preparation
