Job Summary
Kitchen Assistant with responsibilities in preparing and cooking food for participants in the Healthy Dinner Program, ensuring safe and hygienic handling, storing food at correct temperatures, distributing and serving meals, maintaining inventories, handling and reporting active inventory, coordinating with the manager for purchases, and performing other tasks as assigned. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, food safety certification preferred, and at least 2 years of experience in food preparation and handling in school/restaurant facilities. Emphasizes knowledge of food production processes, customer service principles, quality control, and safety regulations. Bilingual Spanish guidance is included in the description. The role reports to the Kitchen Chef and is part of Operations, with full-time/part-time status indicated as Part Time.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Two (2) años o más de experiencia en preparación y manejo de alimento para una escuela, restaurante o facilidades parecidas
