Job Summary
Assist the Head Chef in preparing meals for residents, managing stock levels, and ordering supplies from specified suppliers. Operate an efficient stock control system, ensure equipment is maintained and withdrawn immediately if faulty, and support the delivery and serving of food. Understand specific dietary requirements, promote resident welfare, and adhere to health and safety, infection control, and allergen protocols. Report any incidents or accidents to the cook for recording and actioning. Shifts run 10:00-18:00, four days per week, with a salary of £13.48 per hour. Mileage is paid over five miles, and meals are provided.
