Job Summary
Prep and serve nutritional meals and snacks while maintaining inventory of kitchen supplies and food in a neat, orderly manner. Clean kitchen facilities, equipment, and appliances to ensure a safe and presentable environment. Perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing, including squatting, bending, and lifting heavy objects up to 75 lbs. Work Monday through Sunday, 29 hours per week, with typical shifts from Monday to Thursday between 7am and 7pm. A valid state driver's license and Food Handler's Certificate are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid State Driver's License
- Food Handler's Certificate (or ability to obtain within established timeframe)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively
- Ability to cook, taste and smell food
- Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 75lbs.)
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
