Job Summary
Assist in the provision of catering service to authority standards while preparing and cooking food. Maintain cleanliness and storage procedures including food rotation, and complete simple forms and daily records in English. Ensure all staff undergo pre-employment health screening and possess verified photo ID, overall, headgear, and non-slip shoes. Adhere to Food Hygiene Regulations, present with high personal hygiene standards, and wear no jewellery or nail polish.
Required Qualifications
- Some experience of preparing and cooking food
- To be able to communicate at a reasonable level
- To be aware of procedures with regards to cleanliness and storage of food, including food rotation
- To be able to complete simple forms and read basic instructions in English
- Have received an introduction to Food Hygiene training
- Needs verified photo ID
- Must have experience in catering or service industry
- Have knowledge of Food Hygiene Regulations
- Must be well presented with high standards of personal hygiene
- No jewellery or nail polish to be worn
- All catering staff must have undergone pre-employment health screening
- Must possess overall, headgear, sensible shoes with non-slip soles
