Job Summary
Provide daily nursing care and personal assistance to assigned clients, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Perform essential household services such as laundry and light housekeeping while maintaining infection control practices and reporting safety concerns. Assist with bowel and bladder control and devices as directed by supervisors. Work 35 hours per pay period from 10am to 5pm on Fridays, Saturdays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. This role supports income-qualified adults ages 50 and older at North Park Plaza in New Hope, MN, offering a subsidized home health service option within a community of Volunteers of America National Services.
Required Qualifications
- Home Health Aide or CNA
- Have successfully completed a 75-hour training course and competency evaluation
- facilities certified for participation in the Medicare program or have successfully completed a Nursing Assistant training program approved by the State of Minnesota
- Must be at least 18 years of age
