Job Summary
Prepare California Chicken Café's scratch-made recipes and keep the back kitchen and facilities clean and organized. Follow production lists, read and execute recipes, use manual or electronic appliances for food prep, store and label foods per Health Department regulations, maintain sanitized, well-stocked work areas, read and adhere to company policies, and package guest food orders. Maintain a positive, collaborative environment, communicate any issues about food quality, equipment, or work conditions, and perform other duties as assigned. Flexible hours with possible early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays; opportunities for advancement and benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401k match, and free meals. Must pass Food Handlers and CA Road to Success requirements and be authorized to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must attend and pass California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire
- Previous restaurant experience preferred
- Able to understand and speak basic English
- Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
- Must pass Food Handlers course and test in compliance with CA state law requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
