Job Summary
Perform advanced inspections, servicing, and repairs on King Air and turboprop aircraft, with emphasis on airframe and engine systems; troubleshoot and function test systems using manufacturer data; lead assigned aircraft projects to ensure scope, quality, and timelines; interpret and apply technical data, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives; document maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures; mentor junior technicians and support documentation practices; maintain safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance; manage tools and work areas; travel occasionally as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 8+ years aircraft maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, and 145
- Experience working on turboprop aircraft; King Air experience strongly preferred
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required
- Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain AOA badge
- Must obtain and retain Elliott Aviation Production Inspector (Blue Stamp) designation
- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities across aircraft systems
- Ability to interpret and apply complex technical data and regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Effective communication in complex technical situations
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage project timelines
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Occasional overnight or short-notice travel
