Job Summary
Kindergarten Teacher responsible for delivering elementary education within the Winnetka Public Schools District 36. Responsibilities include differentiating instruction for diverse learners, articulating the needs of elementary-aged children, fostering communication and collaboration with colleagues, leveraging technology in the classroom, and upholding professional growth. The role requires energy, organizational skills, and the ability to support students’ physical, emotional, and intellectual development in a dynamic school setting. Salary determined by WPA Professional Agreement; online application required.
Required Qualifications
- Holds an Illinois Professional Educator's License (PEL) with a primary endorsement
- High energy level and understanding of elementary education best practices
- Ability to articulate the needs of elementary school child (physical, emotional, intellectual)
- Ability to differentiate instruction within a heterogeneous student group
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Commitment to continuous personal and professional growth
- Ability to work well cooperatively with colleagues
- Working knowledge of computers, software, and technology
