Job Summary
Permanent full-time Kindergarten Teacher responsible for setting learning goals and planning developmentally appropriate and engaging lessons, preparing instructional materials, leading whole and small group instruction and providing intervention as needed, assessing student performance and growth, maintaining communication with families, carrying out required supervisory duties, and performing other duties as requested by the division director. Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of early childhood teaching experience; emphasizes professional growth, collaboration, and equity-focused, student-centered teaching, with a commitment to diversity and engagement beyond the classroom.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree (preferably in education)
- At least three years of teaching experience in an early childhood classroom
- Experience working with children in an educational environment
- A demonstrated commitment to professional growth, collaboration and collegiality
- A passion and love for meeting the social and academic needs of Preschool students
