Job Summary
Conduct daily kindergarten instruction integrating faith and technology while fostering collaborative relationships with students, parents, and faculty. Apply educational laws, policies, and ethical standards consistently to support academic excellence and student growth. Demonstrate strong communication skills and organizational abilities to manage classroom best practices and multi-tasking demands. Maintain a commitment to Catholic education mission and complete required Virtus training. Submit cover letter, resume, teaching certificate, recommendation letters, and diocesan application to Mrs. Casey Lenneman before the open deadline.
Required Qualifications
- Be a practicing Catholic who lives in accordance with the teachings of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church
- Hold a current Michigan K–5 or K–8 Teaching Certificate
- Be Virtus trained or willing to complete Virtus training upon hire
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exhibit strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities
- Foster positive and collaborative relationships with students, parents, faculty, staff, and administrators through professional and effective communication
- Possess a thorough understanding of educational laws, policies, and ethical standards and consistently apply them in practice
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of effective instructional strategies, teaching methodologies, and classroom best practices
- Show a commitment to academic excellence, student growth, and the mission of Catholic education
