Job Summary
Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership and Language Magnet Academy. Responsible for planning instruction to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth; formatively assessing student progress and adjusting instructional techniques; implementing innovative, research-based instructional strategies; maintaining accurate records; collaborating with administration, parents, and community; creating hands-on instructional materials and units aligned to curriculum goals; providing a conducive classroom environment; supporting student development and equity; participating in staff development; and serving as a model classroom with opportunities for observation. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and an Arkansas Teacher’s license for Elementary Education K-6 or ECE P-4; nine-and-one-fourth month contract (190 days) with benefits; FLSA exempt.
