Job Summary
Intervention Specialist for a K–8 Catholic private school network (Julie Billiart Schools) for the 2026-27 school year. Works in a co‐teaching model with another intervention specialist to lead classroom instruction, develop schemes of work and lesson plans, and implement an instructional program aligned with diocesan policies. Responsibilities include planning and delivering active learning experiences, selecting instructional resources and technology to meet diverse needs, instructing and monitoring students, providing timely feedback, maintaining accurate progress records, preparing required reports, managing classroom behavior, and participating in level, school, and parent meetings. Requires valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License (or in full process) and a minimum bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or related field, with 2+ years experience supporting students with ADHD, autism, or other learning challenges. Salary starts at $50,000 with increases based on education and experience. Location focus includes Akron campuses with potential additional OH locations; position is full-time and in-person.
Required Qualifications
- valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License or in full process of obtaining
