Job Summary
Kindergarten general education classroom teacher responsible for planning and delivering instructional lessons aligned with California Common Core standards. Use ongoing assessments to adapt instruction, lead whole and small group instruction, differentiate lessons, and communicate student progress through conferences and IEP/SSPT planning. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design, participate in grade-level and professional meetings, and engage families through school events. Opportunities to lead instructional initiatives, support student socio-emotional development, and contribute to a culturally responsive, arts-enriched learning environment. This is a full-time, 10-month salaried position with a salary range of $68,000–$121,000 annually and a benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- California multiple-subject teaching credential required
- Classroom teaching experience strongly preferred
- Ability to establish/foster a positive and safe school culture
- Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution
- Possesses a growth mindset and a love of learning
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
