Job Summary
Kindergarten–2nd Grade Classroom Teacher at TEXAS LEADERSHIP PUBLIC SCHOOLS. Designs, writes and uses lesson plans aligned to the charter curriculum; adapts instruction for differences in student learning styles; teaches instructional subjects under Texas Education Agency guidelines; employs technology to strengthen instruction; collaborates with special education teachers on IEP modifications; coordinates with staff to meet charter requirements; oversees teacher aide and volunteers; manages student assessment, extracurricular duties, and classroom environment; maintains professional communication with parents and colleagues; participates in professional development and adheres to charter and state regulations. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or higher and Texas Teacher Certification; ESL Certification is preferred for all ELA Teachers; proficiency with classroom technology is required. Extended hours and some lifting may be required.
Required Qualifications

- Valid Texas Teacher Certification, strongly preferred
