Job Summary
Develop and implement face-to-face, distance, and virtual lesson plans to foster student intellectual, emotional, and social development. Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement through formal and informal testing while analyzing learning styles to tailor instructional activities. Manage classroom behavior, supervise teacher aides, and communicate daily with students, parents, and district personnel via email, video conferencing, or phone. Prepare lessons reflecting accommodations for diverse learning needs and maintain open communication logs. Compile required reports, attend faculty meetings, and participate in staff development activities to improve job-related skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
- Knowledge of subjects assigned
- General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
