Job Summary
Deliver engaging on-snow training sessions focused on skill development, confidence, and enjoyment for U6, U8, and U10 athletes. Support fundamental skiing abilities, coordination, and teamwork while providing encouragement and basic feedback. Manage group transitions and maintain a safe, inclusive environment. Follow session plans, assist with equipment setup, and track attendance. Collaborate with Head Coaches on program delivery and participate in team meetings. Maintain a positive, energetic coaching style and represent the club professionally. Requires current SafeSport, First Aid, and CPR certifications; weekend and holiday work during the ski season.
Required Qualifications
- Entry-level coaching certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Current SafeSport certification (or ability to obtain before season start)
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Weekend and holiday work during the ski season
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children in sport, recreation, or instructional settings is an asset
- A positive, energetic, and approachable coaching style
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
