Job Summary
Kiln Operator - Day Shift responsible for operating and overseeing kiln equipment to ensure temperature and drying schedules are met, conducting regular moisture readings, and maintaining detailed records of kiln temperatures, times, and data. Must follow safety protocols, assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of kiln equipment, and coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality control teams to meet production targets. Requires forklift certification or ability to obtain it, attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to pass post-offer drug and alcohol tests, a pre-employment physical, and background checks. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma, understanding of kiln operation and materials processing, and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00am–2:30pm, with flexibility to cover other shifts for vacations; Idaho Forest Group is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Certification: Forklift certification or the ability to acquire certification
- Attention to Detail: Ability to monitor and adjust processes to ensure quality and efficiency
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for working with high-temperature machinery

- High School Diploma or equivalent
