Job Summary
Custodian role at Kidz Lodge facilities with on-site shifts (Part-Time). Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining facilities using established methods and equipment, reporting maintenance requests, and following provided instructions and procedures. Requires knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety practices, ability to interpret manuals, and clear communication. Training commitments include CPR, AED, and First Aid within 30 days of hire, plus New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE, and Bloodborne Pathogens within 90 days. Shifts available Monday–Friday from 9am–1pm or 2pm–6pm; includes benefits such as YMCA membership, paid sick leave, and retirement options.
Required Qualifications
- One year prior experience in custodial work preferred.
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (completed within 30 days of hire)
- New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Bloodborne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Ability to report and record maintenance requests
- Basic upkeep and care of equipment
- Excellent human relation skills and communication skills
