Job Summary
Lead BabyStrong classes using KidStrong's proprietary curriculum, guiding caregivers through developmental milestones, sensory exploration, and purposeful movement. Master the "why" behind the program to confidently teach early developmental concepts while maintaining high-energy, positive interactions before, during, and after sessions. Utilize the Coach App to track attendance and record milestones, and complete required training and evaluations with the General Manager. Communicate professionally with teams and families via Slack, attend monthly staff meetings, and foster an inclusive community for all participating families. Minimum 6 hours weekly commitment available for weekday mornings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for Early Childhood: Genuine passion for working with babies, toddlers, and parents is non-negotiable.
- Current CPR Certification required prior to the start date.
- Background check required.
- Must be available for weekday morning classes and weekend shifts.
- Minimum commitment of 6 hours per week.
- Ability to work in an active environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting/repositioning equipment up to 25 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in early childhood education, child development, pediatric therapy, infant fitness/recreation, nursing, or early childhood teaching is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills; highly comfortable engaging with parents and caregivers about child development.
- Dynamic, positive, upbeat, and professional coaching presence with the confidence to lead groups and facilitate parent participation.
