Job Summary
KIDSPACE - KID SPACE ATTENDANT at Columbia Association's Supreme Sports Club in Columbia, MD. A year-round, part-time role for caring for children aged 6 weeks to 13 years as interim care while parents use the fitness club. Responsibilities include engaging children with games, positively communicating with children and parents, leading activities, and ensuring a safe, customer-service oriented environment during evenings, weekends, and special events. Must obtain First Aid and Community CPR certifications; ability to sit on the floor, stand for extended periods, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds; approximately 12-18 hours per week with weekend availability and occasional events. Compensation includes $16.00/hour plus part-time benefits such as Fit & Play membership, wellness benefits, paid leave; full-time benefits include medical/dental/vision/Life, 401(k), and additional perks. Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years or older
- Applicants must be able to communicate positively and effectively with children and their parents and must be able to enthusiastically lead games.
- Enthusiasm and a pleasant demeanor are key for this position.
