Job Summary
Lead and guide children by acquainting them with rules, schedules, and the activity area while ensuring the safety and welfare of every child. Plan, organize, and implement activity plans for special interest events, maintaining a nurturing environment by reporting suspicious activity and keeping supplies, facilities, and equipment organized. Monitor the environment for child abuse or code of conduct violations, complete health logs and incident forms for any accidents, and assist with facility clean-up and inventory. Perform all other duties as assigned while demonstrating mature, SMART behavior.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- Work well with children
- Must possess acceptable hearing and visual capabilities
- Must be alert at all times
- Must possess character that is above reproach and worthy of emulation by the children
- Should show maturity
- Must possess effective communication skills
- Must possess organizational skills
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must possess physical endurance for extended periods of time in all types of weather conditions
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
